Disclaimer

What this disclaimer means for you: no promised rankings, general information rather than advice, and prices confirmed in your written proposal.

Last updated: October 11, 2026

This disclaimer explains what you can and can't rely on when you read seoexpertmarketing.com, ask for our free website review or work with SEO Expert Marketing. Each point in the summary below has its own section further down.

This disclaimer in brief:

  • No one can guarantee rankings, traffic, leads or revenue, and we don't.
  • Our pages explain SEO in general. They aren't legal, financial, tax or technical advice for your situation.
  • Examples on this site are illustrations, not client results.
  • Figures, quotes and prices from other organizations belong to them and can change.
  • A link to another website isn't an endorsement.
  • Our plan prices are in US dollars, and your written proposal confirms the work and price before you commit.

No one can guarantee rankings, traffic or sales

We don't guarantee that your site will reach any particular position in Google or another search engine. We also don't guarantee a number of visitors, calls, leads, sales or revenue. That isn't us being cautious: it's how search works. Google's own guide, Do you need an SEO?, says: "No one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google." It also tells site owners to beware of SEOs that claim to guarantee rankings.

Google goes further in its in-depth guide to how Google Search works. It says Google "doesn't guarantee that it will crawl, index, or serve your page," even when the page follows Google Search Essentials, and that it doesn't accept payment to crawl a site more often or rank it higher. The same is true of newer features: Google's page on AI features and your website says that for AI Overviews and AI Mode, "Indexing and serving isn't guaranteed."

Why SEO results vary

Search results depend on many things we don't control: changes to Google's systems, what your competitors do, your site's history, your market, changes other people make to your site, and how your customers search. Timing varies too. In the words of Google's SEO Starter Guide, some changes "might take effect in a few hours, others could take several months," and not every change you make will have a noticeable effect in search results.

So when we describe what SEO work could do for a site, read it as our reasoned view, not a promise. Any forecast or estimate we share is for information only. Our terms and conditions make the same point as this disclaimer and set out the limits of our liability. Nothing in this disclaimer limits any rights you have under the consumer protection laws that apply to you.

General information, not professional advice

Our service pages, FAQ answers and any articles we publish explain SEO in general terms. They aren't legal, financial, tax or technical advice for your business, and reading them doesn't make you a client. Every website, market and business is different, so something that helps one site may not suit yours.

Before a big change, such as a redesign, new page addresses (URLs) or switching to a different domain name, check how the advice fits your own site. For legal or tax questions, talk to a qualified professional. If you'd like us to look at your site, start with the free website review. Send your site and goals, and our reply by email covers the issues that stand out and where we'd start. It's free, it's our view rather than a promise of results, and it creates no obligation.

We aim to keep this site accurate and up to date, but SEO guidance changes and any page can contain a mistake. If you spot one, please tell us.

Examples are illustrations, not client results

We're a new agency, and we don't publish client results, reviews or testimonials yet. When one of our pages shows an example of SEO work, such as a findings table, a keyword map or a plan, it's made up to show the format. The example findings on our SEO audit services page and the keyword map for a fictional plumber on our keyword research services page are two of these. They don't describe a real client, and they don't show what will happen on your site.

The same goes for our plans. The lists of what SEO Starter, SEO Growth and SEO Authority include describe the work, not an outcome. Our about page describes a monthly article we plan to publish, "this site, ranked in public", with this website's own Search Console figures. Those numbers will show how one new website is doing, not a forecast for yours.

Figures, quotes and prices from other sources

Some of our pages quote other organizations, such as Google's documentation or the survey of SEO consultant rates on our SEO consulting page. Those words and figures belong to their sources. We link to the original so you can read it yourself. Sources update their pages, so check the original before you rely on a number.

Some numbers used in SEO, such as how often a keyword is searched, come from third-party tools and are estimates. Google's Do you need an SEO? guide, linked above, also points out that Google doesn't evaluate or endorse third-party SEO tools, and that those tools can't see Google's internal ranking data.

Prices that other companies charge for consulting, software, hosting or tools are set by them and can change at any time.

We link to other websites, mostly Google's own help pages, so you can check the source yourself. A link isn't an endorsement of that website, its owner or anything it sells. We don't control those pages, how they change or how they handle your data, and their own terms and privacy policies apply when you visit them.

Prices are in US dollars and confirmed in writing

The monthly plans listed on our SEO services page are priced in US dollars (USD). You can't buy a plan through this website. Each client gets a written proposal before committing, setting out the scope of work, the price in US dollars and who handles which tasks. Our refund policy explains refunds and cancellations.

If you're in the UK, Canada or Australia and convert a plan price into your own currency, treat the result as an estimate. Exchange rates move every day, and banks and payment providers can add their own conversion fees.
