White label SEO lets web designers, marketing agencies, freelancers and consultants offer SEO to their own clients under their own brand, while a specialist team does the work behind the scenes. You keep the client relationship, the invoice and your name on the service; we handle the audit, on-page fixes, content, local SEO and reporting. This page explains how our white label SEO services work, what the industry terms mean, which warning signs to avoid in any provider, and how to request a quote.
We're SEO Expert Marketing, a new, remote agency for small businesses in the USA, UK, Canada and Australia. We work on WordPress and Shopify sites. Because every partner and every client site is different, white label work is quote-based: you tell us about the site, and we send a written proposal. Request a white label quote whenever you're ready.
What white label SEO means
You sell SEO to your client. We do the SEO work. Your client deals with you, sees your brand and pays you. That's the core idea, and it's common in agency work: a web designer who builds sites, or a marketing agency that runs ads, can add SEO without hiring a specialist or learning every tool.
The details matter more than the label, so our proposal spells them out in writing for each partner:
- Branding: how reports are branded, and whether our name appears anywhere.
- Contact: who talks to the end client, and whether we ever join a call.
- Access: what logins we need to the website, Google Search Console, Google Analytics and the Business Profile.
- Approvals: who signs off the plan, new pages and bigger site changes.
White label vs private label vs SEO reseller
These words are used loosely in the industry, and two providers can mean different things by the same term. Here's how they're usually meant, in plain words:
| Term | Usually means | Whose brand the client sees |
|---|---|---|
| White label SEO | A provider does the work; you sell it as your own service | Yours |
| Private label SEO | Often the same thing, sometimes with more custom reports or processes built around you | Yours |
| SEO reseller | You sell a provider's SEO service; branding may be yours or theirs, depending on the deal | Depends on the agreement |
Because the terms overlap, don't choose a provider by the label. Ask what they actually do, what you'll see, and what your client will see. An SEO white label reseller arrangement and a private label SEO arrangement can be identical in practice; the written agreement is what counts.

What our white label SEO services include
The work is the same SEO we do for our own clients, delivered under your brand. Each proposal picks the parts that fit the client site:
SEO audit
A full review of the site: technical errors, indexing, speed, page titles, content gaps and local signals. It sets the order of the work. Our SEO audit services page shows what an audit looks at.
On-page and technical fixes
Repairs to titles, headings, internal links, broken pages, redirects and settings that stop Google reading the site well. On WordPress and Shopify we can usually make the changes directly, with the access agreed in the proposal.
SEO content
New and improved pages written for the end client's customers, sent for approval before they go live. See our SEO content writing services for how we write.
Local SEO
Google Business Profile care and consistent business details for clients who serve a town or region. Our local SEO services page covers this in more depth.
Reporting
Plain-English reports of what was done, what moved and what comes next, with branding agreed in the proposal. You can forward them to your client or rewrite them in your own voice.
How white label pricing works
White label SEO pricing is quote-based. You tell us about the client site or sites: the address, the platform, the business type, the main goals and what the client already pays for. We reply with a written proposal that sets out the scope, the price in USD and who does what. Nothing starts until you've agreed to it.
For context, our own retail plans for direct clients start at $395 a month; the SEO packages page compares them. A white label proposal is priced separately, for the actual work on the actual sites. What you charge your own client is your decision.
How to start: four steps
- Tell us about the site: send the client site details through the quote form.
- Get a proposal: scope, price in USD, branding, contact and access, in writing.
- Set up access: you get the logins from your client and confirm approvals.
- Work and report: we do the work; you receive reports to share under your brand.
SEO takes time. Judge progress over several months, not weeks, and set the same expectation with your clients from the start.

Your part as a partner
White label SEO doesn't mean hands-off for you. A few things only the partner can do:
- Be honest with your client. Don't promise rankings or results we haven't agreed, and describe the service truthfully.
- Get site access. Your client owns the website and Google accounts; you arrange the logins we need.
- Handle approvals. Pass on plans and new pages, and send back the client's answers quickly.
- Share what you know. The client's services, areas, prices and customers shape the work.
The client's Search Console, Analytics and Business Profile should stay in the client's name, not ours and ideally not only yours.
Red flags in a white label SEO provider
Your reputation rides on your white label SEO provider's work, because your client sees your name on it. Watch for these warning signs:
- Guaranteed rankings. Google's guide Do you need an SEO? says no one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google.
- Bought links and PBNs. Buying links, or using private blog networks built to pass links, counts as link spam under Google's spam policies. If it's found, your client's site pays the price, and you lose the client.
- Hidden methods. If a provider won't explain what it does, you can't explain it to your client either.
- No access to the work. You should be able to see every page written, every fix made and every link earned.
We work the opposite way: written proposals, explained changes, no bought links and no ranking promises.

Who our white label SEO suits
It suits web designers who want ongoing SEO for sites they've built, marketing agencies adding SEO to ads or social media work, and freelancers or consultants whose clients keep asking for search help. It works best when you can get access quickly, pass on approvals and talk honestly with your clients about timelines.
It doesn't suit anyone who wants guaranteed rankings, bulk-bought links or copy-paste pages, or who needs a provider to stay hidden while promising results the work can't back up. If you'd rather your client deals with us directly, our managed SEO services may fit better.
Not sure where to start? SEO consulting can help you plan an SEO offer, and our SEO services page lists every area we cover. When you have a client site in mind, send it for a white label quote.
