International SEO services help a business reach customers in more than one country through search. For a small business, that usually means selling to the US, the UK, Canada or Australia from one website, and making sure each country's searchers find a page that fits them: the right spelling, currency notes, shipping or service details and examples. This page explains how international SEO works, the decisions involved and how we help.
When international SEO is worth it
- You already get visits or orders from other countries, or plan to.
- Your product, pricing or service actually works for customers there: you ship, deliver remotely or have local terms.
- Searchers in each country use different words, spellings or expectations.
If you only serve one country, focus on national or local SEO first; our national SEO services cover that.
Three signs international SEO services are worth it:

The key decisions in international SEO
1. Site structure
Google's guide to managing multi-regional and multilingual sites compares the options: country-specific domains (example.co.uk), subdomains (uk.example.com) and subdirectories (example.com/uk/). Each has pros and cons; for most small businesses, subdirectories on one domain are the simplest to manage because everything stays on one site.
2. Hreflang for language and regional versions
When you have versions of a page for different countries or languages, hreflang annotations tell Google which version to show to whom. Google's documentation on localized versions of pages explains how to set them up. Done right, they stop your US and UK pages competing with each other.
3. No automatic redirects by location
Google advises against automatically redirecting users to a language version based on what you think their language is, because it can stop users and search engines from seeing all versions. A clear country or language switcher works better.

4. Real localization, not copy-paste
Changing "color" to "colour" isn't enough. Localized pages should reflect real differences: currency and how you bill, shipping times, local regulations, the terms people search and examples they recognize. Near-identical pages per country add little and can look like duplicates.
5. Local signals where you have a presence
If you have a real address in a country, a Business Profile there helps. If you don't, don't invent one: say honestly that you serve that country remotely, as we do on our own UK and Australia pages.
6. Measuring by country
Search Console lets you filter performance by country. We report impressions, clicks and positions for each target country separately, so you can see where international SEO is working.
English-speaking markets: small differences that matter
Selling to the US, UK, Canada and Australia looks simple because they share a language, but searchers notice the details. Spelling differs (optimization and optimisation), so do words (zip code and postcode, sales tax and VAT or GST), date formats and measurement units. Good international SEO services handle these on each country version so visitors feel the page was written for them.
Prices and currencies
If you charge in one currency, say so clearly on each country page and explain that banks convert the amount. If you charge in local currencies, show them consistently in titles, pages and structured data.
Common international SEO mistakes
- Machine-translated pages published without review.
- Hreflang tags pointing to the wrong pages, or only one way.
- Forcing visitors to a country version they didn't choose.
- Claiming offices or phone numbers in countries where the business has none.
Four common mistakes that international SEO services should avoid:

Shipping, delivery and support details in international SEO services
For each country, say plainly how customers get what they buy: shipping times and costs, how remote services are delivered, which hours you answer messages in their time zone, and how returns or cancellations work. These details answer real questions and reduce abandoned orders.
International SEO services pricing
International work runs under our three monthly plans: SEO Starter at $395, SEO Growth at $795 and SEO Authority at $1,495 (USD). Most international sites need at least SEO Growth, because keyword research and mapping per country and internal linking between versions are central to the work. Your written proposal confirms which countries, pages and tasks are included; we work in English, so the proposal also says how any other languages would be handled. You can compare the packages line by line.
Who our international SEO services suit, and who they don't
They suit small businesses selling to English-speaking markets, such as the US, UK, Canada and Australia, from one website, and businesses whose international visitors land on pages that don't fit them. They don't suit businesses wanting dozens of translated pages without review, or local presence claims they can't back up.
A realistic timeline
Structure and hreflang fixes can take weeks to be crawled and processed. Localized pages build visibility in each country over months, often faster in less competitive markets. We report monthly by country. Our technical SEO services page lists the site checks involved.
